Newartgallery's exhibition features vivid works by two artists whose approaches to image making are strikingly different.
Mark Monroe-Preston's powerful images are rooted in the landscape (quite literally, featuring trees and landscapes from the South Downs) and you can track the location of his works on an interactive map.
Meanwhile, Dick Segal's paintings are inspired, among other sources, by song lyrics. Featuring striking imagery inspired by Beatles lyrics, Dick's paintings are at once both figurative and dream-like.
The two artists' work will feature alongside smaller works from various artists selected by Peter Patterson of Newart especially for the exhibition.
The free exhibition runs Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th in the Martello Room at the Lansdowne Hotel.
