What's the plan for the next few years?
To promote a stable and enterprising economy in Eastbourne and East Sussex; to arrange stimulating and sociable business events and to help all our Members to realise their goals.

Economy and Society
- Support the Business Improvement District (retail & town centre management)
- Tackle homelessness
- Support sustainable tourism & promote our ‘Lifestyle’ town
- Influence & support commercial, Engineering and Manufacturing Development through the South East Local Enterprise Partnership (SELEP)
- Connect education and business
Environment & Sustainable Infrastructure
- Promoting the need for connectivity and mobility to/from and throughout our town
- Road, cycle, rail, public transport (Quality Bus Partnership), digital
- Influence the priority of Town Centre developments with ESCC/EBC
- Influence improvements in air quality
Strategic Direction & Leadership
- Identify new and leverage existing sources of income
- Prepare a long-term vision for our Town Chamber at our 150th anniversary
- Provide strong financial, risk and strategic governance
- Forming strong alliances EHA, ACES, FSB, LCTA, SCC
- Building relationships EBC, WDC, LDC, ESCC and MPs
- Building data for proactive decision making
Business Support & Representation
- Promote well being & mental health for all
- Member engagement, connecting & understanding (Young Leaders, International), and growth
- Provide good commercial business space
- Develop a strong night time economy
- Provide business support where it is needed
- Provide networking, education, training & best practice events
