The Chamber Golf Day was entertaining from the bacon butties in the morning to the raffle and prize giving in the evening. Teams of 4 set off after sharpeners at 10am with a shotgun start in a Stableford Competition.
The Winning team included Nick Bryant of Brilliant Businesses, Lewis Lemon of McNally EV, Michael McCarthy of Safer. Health & Safety, and Marcelo de Freitas of ZLX.
There were prizes for the three top teams plus nearest the pin on all par 3s, nearest the pin in 2 shots on the 9th, longest drive on the 12th and beat the Pro on the 15th!
The raffle included 4 ball vouchers from 12 golf clubs, a magnum of Court Garden Sparkling, a BMW and a MINI for the weekend, golf clothing, a PING Anser Putter, a full valet and Lighting Fibre for a year, free of charge.
There was also a Wheelbarrow of Booze to win and four hampers of fruit too. In all, the activity raised £2,000 for the Charity, Children With Cancer Fund.
