At the Chamber AGM Blue Heart showed us the impact of climate change that is apready causing regular flooding in Old Town. Then the Environment Agency took us through the options for protecting the town from coastal flooding over the coming 10 years.
Storm surges and high tides are already threatening our seafront so it was heartening to know that we have the resources and the will to protect our lovely town.
